Completed Garden Renovation in Redditch

Step by Step Guide to the Redditch Landscaping Project

Before work began, the garden was tired, unusable and in need of some TLC.

Day one the team came in and cleared the lower level of a decking area and stones around. After excavating the ground to the required depth, the new paving area on the lower level was then prepared and hardcore was laid and compacted. Before continuing on with the paving, the pre-existing sleeper work that retained the second level was then replaced with new oak wood sleeper work, establishing a retaining wall and steps.

Separate areas of space was constructed using the timber as dividers. Sections for 2 grass areas and a paving area. All of which were created to utilise space and create level areas.

At that point it was time for the team to begin laying the sawn sandstone paving in the two areas shown. Water feature was set up in the new position.

With the lawn completed and the paving and sleepers all clean and tidy, it just needs those finishing touches. A pergola is a great way of injecting height and interest to a garden. Also a pergola can highlight a location such as a seating area. Of course no garden is complete without furniture, pots and plants.
