Consultation

The consultation will include a detailed client brief.

  • Garden use: How do you use your garden? Recreation, relaxing, family, entertaining or a bit of everything?
  • Style preference: Such as contemporary, classic, uniform or wild.
  • Inspired: Seen something you like - a natural scene, on holiday, in a magazine or on a walk? All inspiration can help us gain the right look and feel for your design.
  • Planting: Likes, dislikes. A planting scheme will be created around this information.
  • Features: There are many possibilities for features based on the functional use of your garden. The main ones will be discussed with you are this stage e.g. paving, lawns, summer houses etc.

The consultation will enable us to gather information of the garden plot for the plan and design.

  • Measurements of the boundary and distance between the features to be taken.
  • All existing features will be noted.
  • Soil conditions.

From this information we get a clear idea of what you want and the complexity of the design and construction process. We will then discuss your budget in reflection of the building costs of the garden. At the second meeting we will establish the final ideas for your design. We then present you with the finished design and final estimate.

Your free consultation lasts for 1 to 2 hours, depending on the size of the project.
